Linen Savers Large 6 Ply
Disposable linen savers for keeping everyday care surfaces easier to change and clean.
Linen savers and underpads help protect mattresses, chairs and bedding from moisture and accidents, while making clean-up easier for families and caregivers.

A linen saver is an absorbent pad placed on a surface to catch moisture. You may also see the words underpad or bed pad. It protects the area it covers, rather than the whole mattress.
There are disposable and washable options. The right starting point is the surface you need to protect and how often you expect to change the pad.
| Think about | Disposable underpads | Reusable bed pads |
|---|---|---|
| After use | Replace when wet or soiled; dispose of as directed. | Wash and dry according to the care label. |
| Useful when | You need quick changes or have limited laundry capacity. | You have a reliable washing and drying routine. |
| Planning supplies | Keep enough for regular changes and a spare supply. | Allow for one in use and others being washed or dried. |
| Compare costs | Look at the price per pad and the pack size. | Consider purchase price, laundry costs and care instructions. |
On the bed: cover the area most likely to get wet, with the absorbent side facing up. On a chair or care surface: choose a pad that fits without bunching or hanging into the way.
For a wheelchair or specialist cushion, first check that an additional layer is appropriate and will not interfere with the seating setup. A linen saver is not a pressure-relieving cushion.
Measure before buying. A 60 × 90 cm pad gives more coverage than a 51 × 65 cm linen saver, but the larger size is only useful if it sits properly on the surface.
Keep track of how many changes are actually needed over a few ordinary days. Use that pattern to plan your next pack, allowing for laundry days and unexpected changes. There is no single correct number for every family.
A waterproof mattress protector protects the mattress more broadly; an underpad can make a local clean-up easier. Keep replacement bedding where the person helping can reach it.
For a fuller personal-care routine, explore continence care, adult wipes and skin and barrier care. Products should fit around comfortable, respectful care.
The terms are often used for the same kind of absorbent surface-protection pad. Compare the actual size, construction and whether the product is disposable or washable.
An underpad protects only the area it covers. A correctly fitted waterproof mattress protector provides a separate layer of protection for the mattress.
No. Use a product specifically labelled reusable if you want a washable pad, and follow its care instructions.
